Awesome, big gibson fan, but I have hesitations about a movie. Seems they aim for lowest common denominator most of the time these days. Johnny Mnenomic is unfortunately the low point for cyberpunk while The Matrix is arguably the pinnacle, if it falls somewhere in the middle I'll probably be well ...

Yeah, I liked it, the CG was great, first time I've thought that stuff actually looked real as opposed to cgi'd. The story was pretty good as well, nothing really all that groundbreaking in terms of plot, but it wasnt boring either. Big mechs rock regardless.

It had been a long time since I had seen one of his (Tarantino) films, and was reminded of what really sets him apart within the first 5 minutes of this one. It's not the violence or gore, it is 100% the dialogue. Very unique ...

Ceno just put a system together for one of our friends for $320 including a few other bits for his own system (80 mm fan or two). With a 2.8 GHz processor instead of a 3.1 GHz it would have been $260, so for just a bit over $200 you can do it. Of course this assumes you have a monitor, keyboard, and...

Yeah, I took out the confusing text I had in that post about other servers, I realize that it's an additional cost for a server transfer as well. It's still just a matter of time vs money, for some people its a big value, for others it isnt.

Well, it's a question of how valuable your time is in some cases. You've got a level 80 toon and for whatever reason you want or need that toon to be the other faction. Are 20 days of playtime getting that toon transferred and geared worth $30? I'd say that's a resounding yes in alot of situations. ...
